Charco's Place, A Food Haven

I'd wished I have a party filled with girls to celebrate with.. Fantasy perhaps..

Even though I was pretty much tired after 2 days of outing and today's school in the morning, I got dragged out by my parents and my bro Infesotr51 to go for another outing, this time however is a family outing..

Since we wanted to celebrate my bro's b'dae, they decided to go to CHARCO's stall at Ang Mo Kio..


Well, it is exactly at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5, Blk 608.. Don't underestimate the shop just because of its name.. Reason is later on.. But first, let's talk about the menu and what we've ordered..

So this is what we've ordered:

Me: Chicken Kebab & Regular Coleslaw
Parents: 1/4 Roast Meal, Lamb Kebab & Regular Coleslaw
Infestor51: 1/4 Hawaiian Meal

Total Price: SGD$38


After we ordered, we've got this nice number tag-thingy to tell the 'waiters' where we were sitted..

This is the 1/4 Hawaiian Meal..

While this is the 1/4 Roast Meal..

and then I've received my Chicken Kebab.. My dad's Lamb Kebab looked the same as mine so no pic of it.. -_-"

And guys, this is the regular coleslaw salad.. You have not seen and would not want to see how big is the large coleslaw salad..

That is one mountain of coleslaw salad.. O.O

The shop is quite big actually, taking up twice the size of a normal stall would take up..

This is what shocked me.. I knew that there would be a Coleslaw Salad, but what I didn't realised is that the shop is also selling Egg, Potato and even Seafood Salad.. ^^

The food was delicious and the good thing is that we couldn't finish some of the food, especially 1 slice of the Chicken Kebab I couldn't eat.. So what do we do, we ordered a takeaway, including the leftover chicken kebab..

There you have it, the review about the Charco's stall in Ang Mo Kio.. A great stall with foods that are worth trying out.. So don't just sit down at home doing nothing, go and have a try at Charco's..

Singapore StreetFest 08 (Outing 2.1)

The best loli cosplayer I've seen.. Worth the great shot..

Even a day after our 2nd group outing, we couldn't just lie down and forget about this event.. So we came, we took some shots and even listened to bands playing mostly J-Rock songs..

We tried to get free hugs but weren't very confident to ask them..



We met at around 2.30pm and reached there at about 15mins after 3pm which is when the event starts..

Here is the group shot we took during the event later in the evening..

Actually, our group was bigger than what is shown in the photoshoot, but some had to leave early and so they are not in the group photo..

So they are alot of cosplayers during the event but managed to get a few good shots of them..




What a surprise when we saw the Vocaloid cosplayers; The Kagamine Twins, Hatsune Miku and Kaito.. Wonder why there isn't a Meiko cosplayer..


Nothing is full without Hatsune Miku's Negi.. And the Kagamine Twins' ice-cream??

Blogger 2nd Outing at La Tendo and Bugis

Yesterday, Panther organised our 2nd Blogger Outing to La Tendo and PriceMart at Kallang Leisure Park and also to Bugis for some arcade fun...


There are 2 groups that will gather together later on.. First up was the group that was to meet at Raffles City at 3pm:

Although there were latecomers, Panther decided not to knee-strike them since he had a fun time at KKnM.. ^^

Then there was the 2nd group, the latecomers-due-to-valid-reasons...

Weijie (late due to work)
Hanif (may be late due to work)
CK (late meet due to school)
Raven (late meet)

In this outing however, no one bought any figurines, though I noticed some did pre-order one or 2 figurines (Don't remember who)..

After about 1 hour window shopping at La Tendo, we went for some arcade fun, 1st at the one in KLP, then on to Bugis 2 hours later..


There, Akabane and Squee went to play Otomedius..


While me and Wcloudx played Gundam Zeon..



Panther on the other hand played World Combat (teh pro in that too 0.0 ) and then played SC3..

After some fun playing games and also watching someone else play ( including the 2 unknown guys who gay-button-mashed the DJ Revolution machine. ), we ate our dinner at a foodcourt nearby before heading home..

Nabari No Ou & Wagaya No Oinari OPs

Having alot of free time today, I've decided to continue with the OP & ED section with 2 OPs (again) from two different animes, "Nabari No Ou" and "Wagaya No Oinari"..


Let us begin with Nabari No Ou:

The story about Nabari No Ou is this:

Set in the modern age, the story is about Rokujo Miharu, who just wanted to live a normal life and inherit a restaurant. At the moment, his biggest problem was the constant pestering from Kouichi Aizawa and Thobari Kumohira, who started a Nindō (忍道, Nindō? lit. "Way of the Ninja") Club.

Miharu wanted nothing to do with "ninjas" and turns them down every time. But soon, he is attacked by an actual group of ninjas and is protected by Kouichi and Kumohira.

There, Miharu learns of the hidden ninja world Nabari, the roles of his classmate and teacher in that world, and of the hijutsu Shinrabanshō (森羅万象, Shinrabanshō? lit. "all things in nature") within him.

The hijutsu, containing all the world's knowledge, is sorely coveted after in Nabari. And because of that, Miharu cannot return to his normal life. He must become the "Ruler of Nabari" to survive.

So it's like another ninja story, but it is a great compensation to the filler-episodes Naruto for some..

Well, the anime is great though storyline start out abit slow for me.. But hey anime can't be rushed or they will look totally bad..


There are actually 3 people who will guard Miharu against the threat of other ninjas from the other clans..

Well, you have Thobari who uses melee to fight other ninjas.. A very cool leader but has fear of riding on any kind of vehicles (trains, trucks, cars, etc..).. He prefer to walk for hundreds of kilometres than riding on vehicles to trvel to a location..


Then we have Kouichi who is a Nindo user.. Can move to a location quickly by using the wind instead of just dashing here and there.. A very serious guy in most of the episodes..


Last but not least we have Raimei, who uses a katana to fight instead of using an type of ninjutsu.. Being a samurai, she looks quite fierce when handling with a katana..



A must watch for everyone.. Anyway, the song is quite nice to listen to.. ^^

The story of the show:

The Takagami brothers return to their mother's hometown only to find out that she was the last Priestess of the Water and that the elder sibling, Noboru, is now the head of the Mizuchi Family. Tōru, on the other hand, is currently being targeted by yokai for the power he possesses.

In order to protect him, the Guardian spirit, Kūgen Tenko, is released from the seal that held her captive. Later that night, the enemy attacks and it took both Kūgen and the sentinel Kō's combined abilities in order to vanquish the evil spirit. Afterwards, the brothers return home with both Kūgen and Kō, who will both serve as their guardians from spirits who mean to do them harm.

Well, although this OP looks abit lazy in some sense, the anime is awesome to watch.. The fighting scenes between the protectors against the enemies is truly magnificent to see..

Though I find that animators like to have the fox deity in gold colour.. Although Kūgen acts like what a fox deity should act (except when she acts childishly in female form), Chizuru from Kanokon tarnished the overall of a fox deity..



Then there would be Kō who is the sentinel of the Mizuchi family.. She agreed to keep an eye for Kugen and the Takagami household..


She is also a very kind person albeit just being a water sentinal.. She offers help to do household chores which she would make a big mess at the end.. -_-"

Beautiful Pictures Using N82

Just came back after going to Clementi for my lunch.. Went with my dad's new Nokia N82 phone and test out some shots at the Clementi stadium..

Wanted to try it out since the phone has a 5 MGPx camera, better than mine and somehow better than the family camera which has 6 MGPx lens..

So took 2 pictures of the stadium before the afternoon heat took a toll on me..




I also took some pictures of the neighbourhood from my family's home.. Kinda have to learn more on how to take a great picture in night mode.. ^^

The view of West Mall has been blocked by the condominium after its completion a few years ago (the one beside the MRT station)..

But it is thanks to the N82 for the beautiful pictures than my K630i phone.. But I still love mine since it can play mp3 songs pretty well..

Character in picture is Aegis from Persona 3 game..

Well, I might be thinking of persuading my dad to lend me the phone to take some pictures during the StreetFest event.. Hope that will happen since chances of success is 35.43%.. -_-"
